How to set up call forwarding on Android

Learn how to divert missed calls to another number.

Call forwarding is a feature available to most phones and networks.

How? Deliver a special instruction to your telecom provider by making a call with MMI codes.

Forwarding will happen when:

You are in "do not disturb mode"
You did not pick up after 20 seconds
Your phone is switched off
You are out of network reach

Getting error messages when applying MMI codes?

Make sure you are in reach of the telecom (phone) network. Applying MMI codes does not work when not having a signal or over Wifi.

Forwarding not always working?

Conditional forwarding does not work when you are calling via Wi-fi. You could give priority to the cellular network over Wifi-Calling in your phone's settings.
